Privacy Policy
Draft. Final text before launch.
What we collect
Your name and email from Facebook Login, the list of Pages you choose to connect (names and numeric IDs), encrypted access tokens, and deletion job records consisting of item IDs and status. We never store, copy, or cache your photos, videos, captions, or comments.
If you manage Pages through a Business portfolio, at login we also read which businesses you belong to and which Pages they hold, only to find those Pages for you. The list of businesses is not stored.
How it's protected
Access tokens and two-factor secrets are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Tokens are never sent to your browser and never logged. Every deletion job additionally requires your two-factor code.
Who else sees it
If you buy a deletion package, your name, email address and billing details go to Freemius, our reseller and merchant of record, who processes the payment and issues your invoice under their own privacy policy. We receive back only the order and the size of the allowance it opened — never your card details. Job notification emails are sent through Resend. Nobody else receives your data, and we sell it to no one.
Advertising and measurement
Our public pages — the homepage, pricing, how it works, and these policy pages — can load the Meta Pixel, which tells Meta that a page was viewed and, after a purchase, that a package was bought and what it cost. It sets cookies in your browser and Meta may connect the visit to your Facebook account.
It loads only if you accept it. Until you answer, and if you decline, the script is never fetched, no cookie is set and nothing is sent to Meta — we ask first rather than telling you afterwards. You can change your answer any time from Cookie choices at the bottom of any public page.
It is deliberately not loaded anywhere inside the app. No page you connect, no scan result, no job, and nothing in Settings is reported to it — the addresses of those screens contain the ID of your Facebook Page, and we do not hand that to an advertising system. The purchase confirmation names the package and the order only. Blocking the pixel in your browser changes nothing about how Unpost works.
Deleting your data
Disconnect and erase everything from Settings at any time, or use Facebook's Data Deletion flow. See our Data deletion page. Both remove your account, connected Pages, tokens, and job history.
