How it works & why it takes time
What happens when you press delete
You log in with Facebook and grant our verified app permission to manage your Page content. We list your media through Meta's official Graph API. When you confirm, our system sends one official deletion request per item to Meta. Meta performs every deletion, so items disappear from Facebook exactly as if you deleted them by hand.
Why it can take 2–3 days
Meta enforces API rate limits on every app on the platform: no matter how big the company is, these limits apply to everyone; they are Meta's rules, not ours. Your quota depends on your Page's recent engagement. To respect the limits (and avoid Meta flagging rapid deletions as abusive), your request enters a queue and runs steadily in the background.
Small Pages usually finish in minutes-to-hours; very large Pages can take 24–72 hours. You'll see live progress and get an email when it's done. You can close the tab; everything runs on our servers.
Instagram's quota works differently and is often tighter: it scales with your account's recent activity. A dormant account gets very little quota, so wiping an old Instagram account can take several days. We show you a live estimate from Meta's own quota data rather than inventing a number.
What we store
Item IDs and job status only. Never your photos, videos, or captions. You can disconnect and erase your data anytime from Settings, and via Facebook's own Data Deletion flow.
Before you delete anything
Deletion is permanent. Facebook has no trash bin for these items and nothing can restore them, not us and not Facebook support. Download a backup first using Facebook's Download Your Information tool.
Why you can't easily do this yourself
The app runs on Advanced Access permissions granted through Meta App Review to our verified Business and Tech Provider, a process that is difficult and time-consuming for individuals to obtain on their own. Facebook's own interface deletes one item at a time; for a large Page that's months of clicking.
What you're paying for
You pay once for an allowance of deletions, not for time. $9.99 covers up to 10,000 deletions; whatever you don't use stays on your balance, shown in your dashboard, and covers later jobs at no extra charge. However long Meta's rate limits make a job take, the price does not change and it keeps running until every selected item is gone. Up to 10 items is free.
